Lori Fraesdorf
Lori Fraesdorf has been a Music Arts Integration Specialist and Children's songwriter in Tucson for over thirty years. In the early '80's, before OMA (Opening Minds Through the Arts) existed, Lori started writing songs and created musical games to help students develop greater self-esteem and improve their regular classroom academic learning. Having first taught as a classroom teacher with both Exceptional Education and Elementary Education, Lori realized early on, that learning with and through music, not only engages students, but helps them retain curriculum concepts and reinforces academic facts and skills. Over the years, Lori has written over 300 original academic songs, written/adapted and produced over 40 musicals and facilitated countless literature adaptations with students. In addition, she has presented many professional development opportunities to help support teachers to integrate music and arts in their teaching.

She has recently begun her own business as a developer, publisher and consultant of educational materials that integrate music and the arts. The name of her business is called, Sound Curriculum Development and Consulting, LLC.
Lori Fraesdorf is also an accomplished jazz pianist and vocalist. She has been performing in Tucson restaurants and venues as a soloist and/or with a variety of music groups throughout the years.
